Tava — Online Therapy
Your psychological well-being can affect your physical health, relationships, and work performance. Tava’s online platform and network of therapists help you step out of the fog and get back to a happier, more fulfilled you.
You can access free online therapy via phone, computer, or tablet. Whether you’re feeling stressed, stuck, or burdened, Tava can help. Support is available for a range of issues such as:
- Addictions and eating disorders
- Anxiety, depression, and stress
- Family, work, and relationship issues
- Postpartum, PTSD, and other trauma

Mental Health and Your Medical Plan
USACS plans cover behavioral and mental health services at 80% after deductible on the HDHP Plans and for a $25 copay on the PPO Plan. See plan documents for specifics on coverage. Coverage also includes virtual therapy from First Stop Health. Your licensed virtual therapist may provide diagnosis, treatment, and medication if needed. Visit www.fshealth.com for more information.

If you’re struggling with something, don’t be afraid to ask for help. There are resources available 24/7.
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — Dial 988 to connect with 24/7/365 emotional support. Free, confidential crisis counseling, including appropriate follow-up services, is available no matter where you live in the United States.
- Crisis Text Line —Text “HELLO” to 741741 Send a text 24/7 to the Crisis Text Line to speak with a crisis counselor who can provide support and information. Standard text messaging rates may apply.
- War Vet Call Center — Veterans and their families call 877-WAR-VETS (877-927-8387) to talk about their military experience and/or readjustment to civilian life.
- Call 911 if you or someone you know is in immediate danger or go to the nearest emergency room.
Employee Assistance Program
We know life is complicated, and sometimes we all just need a little help. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Guidance Resources, helps manage your and your family’s total health, including mental, emotional, and physical.
Through this program, you have free access to confidential mental health assistance, educational tools, and legal and financial advice. The EAP is available 24/7 by phone and includes three face-to-face visits per issue per year with a licensed professional. The EAP can refer you to local resources for:
- Emotional health and well-being
- Alcohol or drug dependency
- Marriage or family relationship problems
- Job pressures
- Stress, anxiety, depression
- Grief and loss
- Financial or legal advice
