Peace of mind is critical when it comes to caring for your family. Should something happen to you, you can be sure that your family is provided for long term.
USACS provides employees with Life and AD&D insurance through SunLife, which guarantees that loved ones, such as a spouse or other designated survivor(s), have basic financial protection.
Your Company-paid life and AD&D insurance benefit could be $100,000 to $500,000 depending on your role and Physician tenure. If you are a full-time employee, you automatically receive Life and AD&D insurance even if you waive other coverage. If you are terminally ill, you can get a partial payment of your group life insurance benefit that can be used as you see fit. The payment to your beneficiary will be reduced by the amount you receive. Refer to the plan booklet for additional details.

What’s a Beneficiary?
Your beneficiary is the person you designate to receive your Life insurance benefits in the event of your death. This includes any benefits payable under Company-paid Life offered by USACS. In the event of a dependent’s death, you would receive the benefit payment under Sun Life insurance.
